Photography, for Candice Everett, captures both the essence and the mystery of the soul. Her interest in photography evolved from her childhood experiences in New Orleans, a city which she describes as soulful, paradoxical, and evocative with many dreamlike images. Her appreciation of the healing nature of images led her to explore photography as a medium for that expression.
